New Jersey Family Week At The Theatre - March 8 to March 16 2008



New Jersey's Eleventh Annual Family Week At The Theatre will be held this year from Saturday, March 8 - Sunday, March 16, 2008. There are free and discounted tickets to all events. Included will be theatre performances, classes and special events.

Families from New Jersey and its surrounding communities will be able to attend this statewide event. Throughout this awesome event there will be musicals, comedies, classes, workshops, backstage events and stories for all ages.

Coordinated by the New Jersey Theater Alliance, the sponsors include: Jersey Arts, NJArtsTix.org, Appel Farms Arts, Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson, WNYC, The Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation, The F.M. Kirby Foundation, The New Jersey Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation,The Horizon Foundation for NJ, Prudential Foundation, The George Ohl, Jr. Trust, The Karma Foundation and The Fund for NJ Blind.

This project is co-sponsored by the NJ Council for The Arts, a Partner Agency of The National Endowment for The Arts.

The Schedule of STAGES(Sharing Theatre Arts with Generations through Events Statewide) will be going online the first week of February 2008.
